One of 4 paintings that I worked on simultaneously. I started with the canvases all touching each other so that early mark-making and gestures would be more integrated and less confined. As I started to see what each painting needed to stand on its own, I began working on them more independently, always seeing how one color or design element used in one piece could be incorporated into another. The sides of all of the pieces are painted black.
The title comes from a shift in my work, a shift in the seasons, and various shifts happening in my family.
