The colorful strata in this piece are pieced together with original fabrics painted with fiber-reactive dyes.
The 3 circle accents are made from fused dupioni silk, on top of which are stunning pieces of dichroic glass, created by the late Arizona artist, Nancy Geddes.
I then used textured medium and acrylic paint to cover the stretched canvas and attached the design on top.
