The quilts in this series are inspired by my journeys away from Ithaca. More than anywhere else, I find myself in the southwest. I never seem to get enough of the colors of the landscapes, both natural and human-made. Some of these pieces began with a photo as inspiration; others are pure explorations of color, line and shape.  Rarely do I end up where I thought I was going.

Each piece has three layer that are held together with decorative stitching. The borders have finished edges and the backs have sleeves for easy hanging.
