In the world of improvisational art quilts, the whole idea is that you start the journey not knowing where you'll end up. As my project begins to take shape on my design wall, I take photos to document the process. This creates a visual memory of the changes I make and lets me compare previous versions to the most recent one. Here are some photos of one such project, that's just under three square feet.
